Over 250 people packed out the Jimmy Little Centre in Lilyfield last night to hear the Inner West Council’s update on Stage 3 WestConnex, and how they plan to lead the campaign into 2018. Deputy General Manager, John Warburton, presented the potential trouble spots for Rozelle residents if Stage 3 were to proceed. The packed hall gave its resounding support to opposing WCX. Residents put pressure on Mayor Darcy Byrne to organise a local rally against WestConnex. Many who attended called for NSW Labor leader Luke Foley to be more visible and strident in his opposition to WCX.
